Effective July 23, 2013, Sherri McKay-Highers was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance and Administration for Chugach Electric Association.  Prior to this appointment, McKay-Highers was serving as Manager, Budget and Financial Reporting, guiding Chugach’s financial planning and reporting responsibilities.  She has worked at Chugach for more than 15 years and has held various accounting management positions.

“After an extensive recruitment and selection effort that included internal, external and national candidates, it is a pleasure to promote a current employee to this position, and I am looking forward to her contributions to the executive team and the Association,” stated CEO Brad Evans.

Chugach is the largest electric utility in Alaska, providing power for Alaskans throughout the Railbelt through retail, wholesale and economy energy sales.
