Chugach has planned an outage that is needed to complete a reliability improvement project that includes an additional distribution circuit to serve the Stuckagain Heights area.  The improved reliability means fewer customers would be affected during an outage.  Additionally, of those customers affected by an outage in the future, many will experience much shorter outage times.

The estimated 2-hour outage is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18 - beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Unplanned events could delay or shift anticipated outage time. Updates will be posted on Chugach’s website and Facebook page.

Chugach is the largest electric utility in Alaska, providing power for Railbelt Alaskans through retail, wholesale and economy energy sales.
