Chugach hosted an official re-opening of the lobby at its headquarters building located on Electron Drive Wednesday, July 28. Chugach Chairman of the Board Jim Nordlund cut the ribbon at a ceremony at 4 p.m. The new look was designed to better serve customers and improve traffic flow.

Chugach moved into the current building in 1984. It replaced the Downtown headquarters building at Eighth Avenue and Gambell Street, where Chugach had been located for more than 30 years.

Chugach is the largest electric utility in Alaska, providing power for Alaskans throughout the Railbelt through retail, wholesale and economy energy sales.
